Specialist Areas  

Hazel works extensively in the completion of Independent Business Reviews across a broad range of sectors.  She has worked with a large number of clients assisting them with the transition of their loan portfolio to NAMA.  Hazel specializes in financial modeling supporting the restructuring and turnaround business units within Focus Consulting.  She has considerable experience in the hospitality, construction industries while actively working with clients in the Green Energy and Primary Health Care sectors.  

 

 

Previous Experience

Hazel has developed significant experience in a number of sectors including construction, waste management and hospitality.  She has worked closely with management teams, focusing on the development of restructuring plans for both domestic and multinational companies.  Hazel has been involved in detailed reviews of the internal controls and procedures for a number of large group companies.  She has acquired considerable knowledge in the preparation of specialized reports for bodies such as the Revenue Commissioners and the Law Society of Ireland.  She has been involved in the completion of a large number independent business reviews on behalf of both banks and investors. 

 

 

Background

Hazel is a graduate of the University of Limerick where she undertook a BA Degree in Law & Accounting.  She subsequently commenced her training with Tiernan Walsh Cunningham and successfully completed her final admitting examinations in September 2007.  Hazel worked in the audit division of Horwath Bastow Charleton Limerick prior to joining Focus Consulting. 

 

Hazel is an Associate Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.  Hazel is currently undertaking a specialist Diploma in International Financial Reporting with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
